The History
Grandstands has been a long time coming. What began as one of our founders' childhood dreams gradually became a reality through the formation of a friendship, dedication to the brand's core ethos, and a shared passion for premium clothing and sport.
Over a decade later, the team put the pieces together to form Grandstands: a premium sportswear brand infused with the fan-crazed nature of Southern culture.
The Brand
We have always been a crew of young men obsessed with sports and cream of the crop performance fabrics to wear in athletic settings. Several brands existed that catered to these needs, but we kept running into the same problem: we just couldn't justify forking over an arm and a leg for their gear. So, we set out to make our own gear and based it at "Goldilocks" price points.
The CULTURE
Gameday never ends.
From front-porch Fridays to Saturday tailgates, we live for the rituals that bring us together. Our crew has deep ties across the Southeastern United States, with its anchor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Growing up, tailgating was a religion for us, with family, food, and football serving as the sacraments. In everything we produce and everywhere we go, we tip our caps to Southern tradition, where the soul's as sweet as the victory.
The Prints
Our prints are our bread and butter. Every one of our print patterns is meticulously designed and hand drawn, with the specific intention of connecting with the wearer on a metaphorical and sub-surface level. This is entirely intentional. An artist's style is irreplicable and completely unique to himself, sort of like a fingerprint. The designs we produce are unlike anything on the market.
Through our artist's creative imagery, we are able to capture memories and raw emotions that may have otherwise remained untouched.
THE INSPIRATION
We strive to live life intentionally, because every moment deserves a standing ovation. Just like grandstand structures afford the best view for a spectator at a sporting event, we are driven to view every moment as best as we can. Through this optimistic approach, it is our belief that a person can experience true fulfillment in life.
